At the beginning of my sustained investigation, I started out by expressing the negative aspects of beauty standards through the use of photography. As I continued to make art I realized that I was following a standard in thinking of the beauty standards in a negative way. Once I realized that, I officially decided to look at the beauty products simply as informational. Iwent this route by using shapes, space, emphasis and movement.

In 1, the collage showed negative aspects of image with crowded space and serif font. Work 2 focuses on crowded space and emphasis with bold writing and a simple, big graphic showing positive side of beauty. 4&5 Iexplored information about beauty products with crowded space and emphasis on title. Work 6-8 focused open space and emphasis on the product and title. nI 1, information is explored through the organic shapes main focus ni the piece with emphasis and movement. 14&15 completed the investigation with the infographic having symmetrical balance and a serif font to bring ti together.
